Nicki Minaj has teased fans the past 24 hours about a big announcement. A little after midnight west coast time on Tuesday, the Young Money rapper announced that she will be the host of this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards.
Taking place on November 9 live from Glasgow, Scotland, the 20-year anniversary special will be Minaj’s first-time ever hosting an awards show. Nicki, who leads the pack with four nominations along with Sam Smith, One Direction, Iggy Azalea, and Eminem, will also perform during the show, taking place at The SSE Hydro. Nicki made the exciting announcement on Instagram, which can be read below.

Nicki Minaj’s third solo album The Pinkprint, is due November 24.
